I have always loved writing in books and discovering what lays under the next sheet of paper I use, like what story is next to unfold or what picture will arise from the sentences that clog up the space on the paper. But for some reason I fell out of love with writing, I think my lack of confidence in my writing never helped, nor did the fact my spelling was just awful. But the thrill and excitement I got from writing stories and short novels seemed to just fade away.
I remember trying to fill up an A4 sheet of paper and it just wouldn't happen or I'd write something that was full of all the right literacy devices however it didn't leap off the page at me nor did it remain in my memory. Like now I cant even tell you what that story was about because it really had no interest to me what-so-ever.
I lost my passion for writing because, I didn't believe it. I had no faith in the story line because it wasn't real enough. It wasn't real full stop really. But it didn't emotionally connect with me.
So I decided that perhaps writing a novel isn't the best for me. But short stories that taught a lesson like Fables would work or better yet. A online blog. That way I can tell my short stories whilst blogging about myself something that is real. Then anything I find hard to face day to day would inspire for a fable and so on.
So that's what this ramble is all about, fables, diary entry's and hopefully some kind of lesson. If anyone manages to find this then I hope you enjoy, if not then I hope I look back on these words and find my love for writing again.
